  • About Us

    DigiRonin Games, (DigiRonin), is a game development studio in Raleigh, North Carolina. Development at DigiRonin is highly contractor based. While Design and Project Management remain in-house, most programming is contracted out to individuals most suited to the specific tasks. DigiRonin has a network of contractors spanning the globe. This ability to hire the right people for the specific job gives DigiRonin an edge in providing superior quality at competitive prices.

    Paul Potera

    Executive Producer

    Paul is one of the most prominent people in the gaming business, having been involved since 1994. Charged with strategic development ThrustMaster in Portland, Oregon, he was responsible for developing and maintaining relations with software developers. Additionally, Paul ran a tiger team for research and development of new products, and was instrumental in the ThrustMaster IPO, which raised $10 Million. Bringing his project management expertise to Interactive Magic in 1996, he was responsible for the production of a number of externally developed projects, including Airwarrior II, Airwarrior III, iF-16, Hind, Fallen Haven, Liberation Day and War Inc. In December of 1998 he joined the fledgling Sinister Games as VP of Production. While at Sinister Games, he oversaw the production of Shadow Company, Soldier, Batman: Gotham City Racer and TWO Dukes of Hazard games. In 2000, Paul was an integral part of Sinister being the first US studio to be acquired by Ubisoft Entertainment. He remained at Sinister as the Managing Director until May of 2003. More recently he was the Senior Producer for Octagon Entertainment creating handheld and console games and won a Parent's Choice Award for Strawberry Shortcake's Sweet Dreams PS2 game.

    Jay Powell

    Business Development

    Jay comes to DigiRonin Games with ten years of industry experience and a degree from the University of North Carolina. Jay has developed and continues to maintain relationships with companies such as Disney, Cartoon Network, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Microsoft. Over the past two years he has overseen the development of more than a dozen titles based on a variety of licenses such as Garfield, Holly Hobby, Strawberry Shortcake, and a wide selection of Disney characters. These titles spanned the Nintendo GBA and DS; Microsoft Xbox 360; and PC.

    Ben Moy

    Producer/Designer

    Ben created and maintained a best-of-breed Quality Assurance methodology at his previous position at Merscom Entertainment. He also acted as technical advisor, game design consultant and Electronic Software Distribution manager. Ben's responsibilities have included production of numerous titles for Cartoon Networks, Disney, Groove Games spanning multiple licenses including "Billy and Mandy" and "Fosters". His Xbox360 title, Buku Sudoku, is available in nine languages. As both a game producer and a "husband" to video games, Ben is a practitioner of the "careful management or conservation of resources" and utilizes a melding of skills gained from the Engineering School at North Carolina State University.
